Every scientist who has ever invented a new machine or gadget thought deeply about the consequences that his or her creation would bring.

In most cases, the inventor pondered greatly upon the conclusion which suggested whether the outcome would be a good one or alarmingly, a bad one.

Let’s take Bill Gates, for example, he created Microsoft and then left us feeling overwhelmed by stating that “Computers have been set up to solve problems that did not exist before.”

Even though he is sincere, he did succeed in pouring confusion into our already boiling brains. So let’s take a step back, and admire the new ways technology is being used to make the world a better place.

ECONOMIC STABILITY:

An increase in the usage of advanced gadgetry has allowed a noticeable escalation to take a room in the production of products and services which have triggered economic development.

The setting up of multinationals and new corporations all over the world has fueled employment and decreased absolute poverty.

The indicated industrial boost has also enabled a persistent rise in the price level of products being sold, thus motivating the labour to work harder in order to earn a greater wage and live a better life.

In today’s world, a skilled worker has the upper hand over an unskilled worker, which is why a significant number of the workforce has begun pursuing their education once again in favour of increasing their financial worth.

A HIGHER LITERACY RATE:

Digitalization is the new trend and one that is helping humanity in liberating themselves. In developing countries, school textbooks have been transformed into E-books which are easily attainable online.

Moreover, one does not need to buy a couple of books and then a bag to store them. In fact, they can all be kept in the same device and accessed when needed. 

It also calls for an easier approach, which means that most children would be more willing to study through their devices rather than boring old textbooks. 

Several institutions supply their students with a form of technology to study from, which assists parents in decreasing the total cost of educating their offspring. 

Cheaper and qualitative education implies that there will be a definite acceleration in each country’s literacy rate because more people would be interested in training themselves.

AN ENVIRONMENT-FRIENDLY LIFESTYLE:

Technology has made it painless for us to lead a safeguarded lifestyle in a safe environment. Scientist’s have stepped up their game of engineering electricity through coal and various gases. 

Now they are utilising natural resources such as air and sunlight to create electrical energy. Solar power is generated by the sun and has already succeeded in the market of electromagnetism by ensuring that just fifteen minutes of sunlight can meet the electrically powered needs of humanity for over a year.

Wind energy and hydro power have introduced themselves into the system as well, but remain slightly aloof due to their high maintenance.

Most developed countries and almost half of the whole wide world has shifted to green energy from coal powered stations; this recent development has begun to heal the ozone layer which was damaged due to excessive use of coal and gas powered electricity. 

At least this way, we can rest assured that we will not go back to the stone age of no electrical power if the world runs out of coal or oil. 

HEALTH CARE:

It is relatively uncomplicated for us homo sapiens to adapt to change. However, significant changes are being made to our world every day. 

Thus, things can get a little difficult to deal with, like machines, humanity spends each day filling their lives with effort and painstakingly tough jobs. The need for care and maintenance is just as important for a human being as it is for a normally functioning robot. 

Keeping all of this in our gumption, we can now understand that due to constant changes in our way of living, we can fall sick now and then and that should not be much of a problem because nowadays the concept of accessible health care is not as vague as it used to be. We can certainly blame technology for keeping us alive, as it is leading us into a medically innovative world. 

Firstly, the rise in our literacy rate is laying a concrete foundation for a whole new generation of capable doctors and nurses. Secondly, these intelligent doctors are weaving a thick web of ingenious devices which are helping us live a longer and healthier life. 

Yes, this may cause overpopulation, but it is also controlling under population which is one of the biggest problems that most countries face. There is an apparent reduction in infant mortality as life-saving methods of giving birth, proper medication and intelligent machines have been created. 

The cures to many chronic infections and dangerous diseases have now been discovered and implemented upon, with increased research and development. Everything stated above may surprised you, most of us do not know the advantages technology has brought to us and continued to produce. 

In this regard, we are left with nothing but simple awe for the inventors of modern science who have pulled us onto a higher mountain of self-sustainability and satisfaction. 

Of course, with everything comes, its opportunity cost and with each benefit arrives its disadvantage. However, it is our duty to draw a limit and keep it there. Applied science has encouraged us to better ourselves and our lives; it has given us major goals and reasons to dream big.
